Bruce Daley
Assistant Vice president for Planning, Design & Construction
Bruce Daley was appointed Associate Vice President for Planning, Design and Construction at the University of Florida in March 2026. He provides executive leadership for the planning, design, and construction of all physical facilities across the University of Florida’s campuses and sites throughout the state. His portfolio includes campus planning, architectural design and engineering, new construction, renovations, and remodels, as well as coordination of infrastructure and community partnerships.
Prior to joining the University of Florida, Bruce served as Associate Vice President of University Infrastructure, Facilities and Operations at Oregon State University. In that role, he oversaw a comprehensive portfolio including construction and planning, facilities and maintenance, parking and transportation services, motor pool, real property management, insurance and risk management, environmental health and safety, space allocation, and land use.
Bruce earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and brings extensive experience from the private construction industry to his work in higher education.
